LUMOS TABLET: Most Affordable Value from only PHP6,999!

As much as I love my laptop, I usually choose handy and compact products to use such as my phone and tablet. And as a mom, I also share my gadgets with my kids, so these gadgets have to be durable and somehow kid friendly and easy on the wallet. So when I learned that LUMOS has their newest product, LUMOS Tablet, and that it's only from P6,999, I knew I wanted to test it out.

As I opened the box and took out the tablet, I noticed that it looks really fancy. It has a 10 inch screen which is perfect for my kids to watch their favorite shows and for me to use for work. It's also lightweight.

Setting up is quick and easy too! It runs on Android which we're pretty familiar with. And set it up with your Google account to get your started.

Since I needed something that I can share with my small kids, I was so glad that LUMOS has a LUMOS Tablet Bundle already, which includes a casing, bluetooth keyboard, stylus and a mouse. The bundle is P8,499. This was a great addition to the tablet itself because it protects the tablet itself and is very useful for my work too.

The LUMOS Tablet has 8GB of RAM and 64GB storage, something that you would expect to find on more expensive devices. 8GB RAM simply means minimal lagging when switching through different apps. There's also a memory card port for additional memory storage, which is perfect if you store a lot of files and download a lot of apps and games.

Another thing it boasts is the powerful 6000 mAh battery that lasts up to 8 hours. For on the go people, this is a big deal!

One of the first things I downloaded are my favorite shows on Netflix. Since the LUMOS Tablet features 4k Resolution and IPS display. The screen size is a major plus for me, of course binge watching on this tablet is a no brainer.

It already comes with some pre-installed apps like WPS office which I use a lot, Netflix, Youtube, some educational apps perfect for my kids, karaoke apps for friends and so much more. The preinstalled apps are great for work and play.

My kids really enjoy watching using this tablet and they even installed their favorite games already.

Having the stylus pen is really fun for them too. They feel like they’re just drawing!

As for me, I was quite impressed by its performance. I'm not much of a gamer, but I work heavily with social media, emails and video editing. I've tried affordable tablet before, and there's usually a struggle when I open a lot of tabs and a lot of apps. But because of the generous RAM, my LUMOS tablet is not hanging or slowing down.

You can also use this for your Zoom calls or online meetings. It has a front and back camera. The front camera is placed at the center when you are holding the tablet horizontally. Camera quality is not the best, but still satisfactory for Zoom.

Since I got the Tablet Bundle, I can transform my tablet into a mini laptop. This is most useful for me because I still prefer typing using a keyboard, and as a true millennial, mouse is life. Haha! I still prefer having a separate mouse, I'm still more used to it. It's very functional. The bundle comes with a stylus pen. I don't use this as often but my kids love it for their coloring app.

The case itself isn't just for protection, it becomes its stand too.

Work is so much easier with proper accessories for your tablet.

I also like that you can cast your screen to your TV. I tested the built-in screen mirroring with my Smart TV over wifi, and it worked great.

Whether for movies with the kids, workout videos, or work presentations, casting is really easy.

I use it for video editing and if I want to see the videos on the big screen, it’s so easy with casting.

One thing that I noticed though is the audio. The sound isn't as loud as I would have wanted it. It's decent but I would usually just pair my Bluetooth speaker or earphones for sharper and louder sounds. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack available, which is so helpful. Other tablets don't have this anymore.

Used this already when we traveled out of town. So compact and handy!

I've used several LUMOS products and I'm very satisfied with them. Aftersales is very easy and LUMOS is a trusted brand with thousands of great reviews. So my final say? Absolutely yaazzz! If you're looking for a budget friendly tablet that packs a punch, this is something I recommend. For only P6,999 and the quality you get with it, this is a great choice.
