I have been sporting long hair for almost my entire adulthood. I have always thought short hair doesn’t fit me; it makes my cheeks look bigger and rounder. But about last year, I’ve been very impatient with my hair and have been so tired of my boring hair. I needed a change, kind of a drastic one.
As you can see, my hair was really really long and about 2 years ago, I colored my hair. And since then, I haven’t colored it again so you could already see the difference in color.
So I decided to finally get my hair cut and I knew I wanted it to be short. When I chose to go short, I immediately saved photos of Erich. See, I really really like her hair. I think she already changed the style but this is the one I’ve been obsessed with.
I also saw Judy Ann’s hairstyle and fell in love with it too. Her hair stylist is Jing Monis. Actually, this was the reason why I decided to go to the salon of Jing Monis also. Perfect because Salon Privat by Jing Monis was quite accessible to me and they were offering 20% off for haircuts!
So on my free time, I went to the salon and finally went short! I remember my hairstylist being unsure because I wanted to go this short. But I insisted that this is really what I want. I wanted a change!
And this is what I got! Actually, I only got it cut so it’s not permanently curled. But my hairstylist decided to style my hair and show me how to do it, so I left the salon looking vavavoom.
Let’s face it, I won’t be styling and curling it everyday, so here’s how my hair looks straight and airdried. I just got out of the shower this time and dried my hair naturally.
I still have to color my hair once more. In the photo below, you can see that half of my hair has color and half is black. I just haven’t found the time to do so and haven’t decided what color to do next. 🙂
A lot of people loved my hair, by the way. I guess most were so used to me having long hair and this is indeed a nice change. Plus it’s so perfect for summer! 😀 I’m so happy with my hair now. I don’t know if I’m quite ready for short short hair, pixie cut. I guess I’m just not there yet, but this will do for now. 🙂
