Moringa O2 2-in-1 Herbal Anti-Dandruff Shampoo and Conditioner Review

If you follow me on my Instagram or Facebook, you may have noticed that I have undergone a big change in my hair. I chopped it off! This was a bold move but it’s been a long time coming as well. I’ve been trying to experiment with my hair because I wanted something different.

I’ll talk more about the hairstyle next time but I wanted to let you in on another new thing that I’ve been using for my hair to keep it healthy and shiny. I have been using Moringa-O2 2-in-1 Herbal Anti-Dandruff Shampoo and Conditioner which I got from Sample Room for maintenance.

It took me awhile to actually do a review on this because I really wanted to give a full honest review before sharing my thoughts. If you have watched one of my videos before, I talked about the previous version of Moringa O2 Herbal Shampoo and have mentioned that it did not suit me and it actually worsened my hairfall. So with this new variant- their Anti Dandruff Shampoo, I really took my time to use it and see the difference and effect it will do to my hair.

I actually started using this even when my hair was long. First thing that I noticed is the scent. I didn’t like the scent because it reminded me of medicated shampoos. This is my personal opinion and thought that maybe because this was an anti-dandruff shampoo. Eventually I realized that Moringa O2 probably didn’t put more fragrance anymore to stick to the “natural” and “herbal” state. I also noticed that it has a very liquid/watery consistency, which made me use more product. (Again, please take note that I had extra long hair at this point). I was already used to using natural hair products that don’t lather as much and as well as other commercial hair products so that didn’t matter to me.

I try to leave it for a few minutes on my hair and continue with my bath before rinsing it off. It gives a very mild cooling sensation to the scalp which is always a good thing. 🙂 What I loved about it is it didn’t make my hair dry. That’s usually my issue with anti-dandruff shampoos; but I didn’t experience it with Moringa O2’s. As you can see in the photo, there’s still shine on my hair too. Although if I want my hair to be extra soft, I would still use a separate conditioner.

As for hair fall, I still found that my hair fall problem was not solved. When I told my husband about this, he told me that it might be because of the length of my hair. It’s already too long that it breaks quite easily. And so after cutting my hair, I still continued using it and noticed that my hair fall subsided. Obviously, there are still a few strands that fall (which I know is normal). So that simply meant that it wasn’t because of this product.

It’s difficult to say if it really effectively gets rid of dandruff since I don’t and didn’t experience having dandruff. But because I have been using different styling products for my now short hair,my scalp has become so darn itchy. So thankful to this product because it actually helps get rid of the itch.

There’s no flaking whatsoever and it didn’t leave my hair heavy as well.

I can honestly say that the Moringa-O2 2 in 1 Anti-Dandruff Herbal Shampoo and Conditioner is way better than their previous one. Or at least based on my personal experience. I didn’t really expect to like this because of my issue with their original variant, but this is definitely so much better.
