Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Sequin Review

As someone on the go, I like using products that are very easy to work with and ones I don’t need to spend hours on applying. That’s why I have a couple of cream eyeshadows in my stash because cream eyeshadows are easy to apply, very blendable and it looks you spent tons of time with your look.

One of my favorites is from Colourpop- Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Sequin. I forgot exactly how much I bought this for, but I remember it was relatively cheap given that Colourpop is a drugstore brand.

Our revolutionary creme-powder eyeshadow, famous for its unique bouncy texture, delivers bold colour & fine glitter in one swipe without creasing, fading or fallout.

As with all Colourpop potted products, the box reminds you to close the jar tightly to ensure freshness of the product and so that it doesn’t dry out.

Sequin is a metallic Super Shock Shadow so it’s very shimmery. I really chose a metallic shadow because I felt that this will give me the most put together look with just 1 swipe.

The shade I would describe as a warm rose copper, almost looks like rusty copper. And its got very fine glitter that shimmer its way to my heart. 🙂

Here is a swatch of Sequin. This was only one swipe. Look at how pigmented and gorgeous it looks.

This Super Shock Shadow can be used as a base for powder eyeshadow or can also be used as is. I find that when I wear this, I don’t really need to put any eye primer anymore. It doesn’t crease nor transfer which saves me so much time!

When I don’t have much time to do my makeup, I just pack the color on my lid, wear a little eyeliner and put on some mascara- 3 easy steps yet I still look like I put tons of effort on my eye makeup.

But there are times I also like to play around with it just like in this photo. Add some color on the lids, pack a punch and wear an unexpected shade on the lower lashline to make it more fun too.

It’s so versatile and so easy to apply! Call this lady in love. And since I feel like warm shades really suit me, this is something I keep onhand in case I need a little bit of dazzle. 🙂

FYI: I checked and the price is $5 in the U.S. I asked somebody to buy me this when she was in the U.S.
