I'm sure you've heard of BB, CC and even ZZ creams before. But did you know that there's a new one in the market? It's AA! Yup, AA Creams and Cushion! There's so much to choose from, nakakaloka! Haha!
Cathy Doll just recently launched the newest line, their AA Automatic Aura Cream and Matte Powder Cushion. AA starts from Automatic Aura, I will explain why in a sec. But it also stands for Anti-Aging and Anti-Acne. Talk about an all-in-one product right?
This line is Automatic Aura because it automatically brightens your complexion. We all want that for sure. It doesn't only do that but it also helps conceal blemishes and zits. It's also got amazing oil control as the cushion is even called Matte Powder Cushion. Another huge plus is that it protectsthe skin from harmful UV rays. The AA Cream has SPF 45 PA+++ and the AA Matte Cushion Powder has SPF 50 PA+++.
We were able to try out the products and swatch them too. Here's my vlog during that day so you can see what happened during the event:
The AA Cream comes in 2: #21 Light Beige and #23 Natural Beige while the The AA Matte Powder Cushion comes in 3 shades: #21 Light Beige, #23 Natural Beige and #25 Sand Beige. The shades are pretty tricky to be honest, so I highly recommend that you visit their stalls to swatch them yourself and see which matches you best. And the AA Matte Powder Cushion, even though it's named as such, isn't powder. Kinda confusing, I know.
During the demo, they applied the products on one half of the model's face for us to see the difference. And what difference it really made! Lakas ng aura indeed! :p Half of her face was brighter and glowing. By the way, they recommended to use the Cathy Doll Milky White Cream prior to applying the AA products as this will enhance the brightening effect even more.
I will be doing a separate review on the products next time. But in case you're wondering, the AA Automatic Aura Cream with SPF45 PA+++ is P750.00 and the AA Automatic Aura Matte Powder Cushion Oil Control SPF50 PA+++ is P1,100.00.
