I love discovering new brands of beauty products and I get even more excited when it's local. I'm amazed by how our Pinoy/homegrown brands are becoming more competitive and high quality, just like their international counterparts.
The newest local brand I stumbled upon is Detail Make Over. Honestly, I was surprised to find out that the brand was Pinoy. I've seen some of their ads and some products but have always thought they're an Asian brand but not local.
What's also interesting about Detail Make Over is that they provide us high-quality, cruelty-free and affordable products. They envision providing customers the best makeup that represents their individuality.
"Our brand is for all makeup enthusiasts, transcending all genders, who go for their dreams and who are not afraid to be themselves. It is called Detail Make Over because we believe that it's the little details that make us who we are thus we encourage everyone to embrace their flaws and emphasize their assets through makeup.", explained Detail Make Over marketing and brand manager, Monika De Veas.
"Our cosmetics are manufactured by reputable manufacturers in China and we have made sure that all of our products have passed the Philippine FDA standards.", she added.
During their official launch, beauty bloggers and vloggers were introduced to Detail Make Over's products. Currently, they have just a few products but are they are still growing.
Looking at the spread during the event, I couldn't help but get excited! Each of the product was well thought of. Packaging very sleek and modern, but there's still that hint of simplicity at the same time.

I have learned that the products were really affordable so I highly suggest this brand to those who are just starting out with makeup. I also love that they've got products perfect for any personality, it's so fun to play around with! One perfect example is the color range of their Matte in Detail lipsticks.
Everyone is definitely free to express their individuality and crerativity through affordable makeup with high-quality shades, formula and packaging.
The brand is pretty new in the market but they're really promising! They're slowly expanding their line of products to eyeshadows and makeup removers, so that's something to look forward to!
