Holiday Park Hotel Baguio

I have always liked traveling and one of the places that we find we go back to all the time is Baguio. My family loves cool weather and here in the Philippines, Baguio is one of the coolest places.

Last year my sisters came with us to Baguio and we decided to try a different hotel. We decided to check in at Holiday Park Hotel Baguio.

I booked the De Luxe Double for us. It's P2,200/night.

Good for 2 persons
One Queen Size Bed with hypo-allergenic pillows
Maximum Capacity of 3 persons**
Children below 10 years, if sharing their parent’s room are free of charge
LED Television with Cable
Fully Air-condition
Hot and Cold Shower
Toilets equipped with bidet
Electronic door lock system and Safety Deposit Box
Holiday Park Toiletries
Free WIFI internet connection

Upon entering the hotel, we noticed that it's a good size room. It was very important for me because we bring our own pack and play for Robyn and we need a place where I can put it.

On the right side is the comfort room (which I forgot to take photos of). It was an ample size. There was a small shower area which can fit 1 person at a time. It had its own shower door so no need to worry that the entire bathroom will get wet. They have heater which is always important in Baguio. Believe me, I have stayed in a hotel where there's no warm water and it was so tough!

On the far end of the room is a sitting area/reading nook. I liked this space because it gave us additional sitting space when my sisters visit our room. (They have a different room.)

The work/vanity area was a little small for me. Perhaps because I have a lot of stuff and add Robyn's things to the mix. A larger space would have been better but that might also mean less space for us to move around. The flat screen LCD TV was beside the table. And to our surprise, they didn't have a ref. I was really surprised because I was used to having a hotel ref (small personal ref size) in hotels.

The bed was quite comfortable. They also had 2 side tables where we put our phones and gadgets. They also had a low table where we put our luggage on. It was really helpful because we don't remove our clothes from our luggage anymore. There was a closet and a couple of hangers as well.

The room has an air conditioning unit. I highly suggest that you use it because there is only 1 window in the room and it's the main road outside. So imagine all the dust and dirt that may enter the room. The room also comes with free breakfast and 24/7 water and coffee. Breakfast was served in the lobby.

Overall, Holiday Park Hotel was a decent hotel to stay in. If you'll be out of the hotel most of the time and will just be sleeping there, I think this is an okay hotel. Parking was no problem and I also liked that we can get water and coffee anytime we want. The rooms were also equipped with free Wifi. I only wish that they have a ref inside the room. We normally buy pasalubongs and other food; if we didn't bring a cooler, we'd be forced to put the items in the hotel ref. I don't even know if it's okay and they'll allow it.

That's just my two cents about this place. If you have other hotel recos, do let me know for our next trip to Baguio! :D
