I have always considered my eyes to be my best facial feature. And there was even a time when I was really "obsessed" with my lashes. I have really sparse, super straight lashes and they don't do much to give my eyes more attention.
One of the beauty aspirations of Filipina women is to achieve the perfect doll look and I am no exception. You know that kawaii look? That look with doll like, wide open eyes with long, curled lashes. So here comes L’OrĂ©al Makeup Designer/Paris, with Miss Manga mascara by False Lash.
The secret behind Miss Manga is its patented conic arched brush. This curved brush with an extra thin tip easily catches even the shortest lashes and bottom lashes, curling them from the root. Also, its Asia-specific formula delivers a perfect curl hold that is 24-hour long-lasting and 12-hour sweat proof. The result? The perfect doll lash look – lively open eyes with lashes that curl up to frame the eyes like never before.

Length- really good
Volume- natural but definitely thicker
What I LIKE:
- I love the length that it gives.
- It definitely opens up my eyes.
- Natural looking, perfect for everyday!
- The consistency is in between dry and super wet (I find that very wet mascaras tend to be heavier thus pulling my lashes downwards even more)
- waterproof, smudge proof
What I DON'T LIKE:
- If you're looking for full volume mascara, this might not be it.
I also wore Miss Manga in this vlog: (Scroll to 8:35 for my initial impression)
I feel like this is a great everyday mascara as it opens up the eyes, lengthens the lashes well and gives natural volume. It doesn't clump and lasts the whole day without smudging. Believe me, I have tried wearing this in really humid and warm weather, and it stayed put without pulling my curls down and straightening them. However, I don't think that I'll be using this for special occasions just because I prefer really full lashes/diva lashes for those events and Miss Manga gives me natural looking ones.
