Toni Gonzaga's Bridal Makeup

Celestine Gonzaga, better known as Toni Gonzaga recently wed her long time boyfriend Paul Soriano last June 12, 2015. I believe their wedding was aired on TV but I personally didn’t catch it. But I saw hundreds of photos online. And she looked breath taking. I saw their wedding photos and she glowed. This was indeed the most important day of her life.

Of course being a makeup artist and a beauty blogger, My eyes first laid eyes on her makeup. Krist Bansuelo did a wonderful job on Toni’s makeup. Her look was simple, clean and no-fuss yet very elegant. She had subtle smokey eyes, beautiful glowing skin and pink-berry lips. Would you believe Krist used the famous Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner and HyperCurlVolum’ Express mascara? It is indeed a #mustcara!

So here I am today sharing with you how I recreated Toni’s bridal look. I editted a little here and there to match my face and eye shape better.

For my face, I wanted glowy cheeks but semi-matte all around. I chose a pink cheek color for that blushing bride effect and kept everything clean to highlight my eyes more.

For the eyes, I did a smokey eye using browns and caramel colors. Unlike Toni’s, I decided to blend out the contour a little bit more just because it looks better on my eye shape. Add a little gel liner to define the eyes more and of course, swipe Maybelline HyperCurlVolum’ Express to give my lashes length and volume that looks natural yet gives impact to the eyes. It keeps my curl up and doesn’t smudge the entire day too!

Lastly for my lips, I chose a pinkish-purple shade. I find that thise color is so romantic and feminine and is the perfect shade for this look. Come to think of it, it’s a similar shade of lipstick I wore on my very own wedding day. 🙂
