It's 7am and I have been up since 5am. Robyn was having a little bit of trouble sleeping and after putting her back to bed, I found myself having trouble sleeping as well. So I had 2 options. Lay in bed until I fall asleep or use this time to blog. You may have noticed I haven't been actively blogging lately. I do apologize and believe me, I miss it a lot. I miss just having a little bit of peace and quiet and just write away. But nowadays, it's just been so hectic. :/
Robyn's 16 months now. How time has flown by. In 2 months, she'll be 1 1/2 years old and later on before we know it, she'll be 2. I am grateful everyday that I have her. She is the best thing in my life, well, my husband is as well. Hihi! :) But seriously, she has grown into this amazing, brave, quirky toddler.
She has become more active now. She started walking with her push toy around 11 months old and on her 14th month, she was already walking by herself. I knew I kept saying I couldn't wait for her to start walking; but man, it's so tiring and exhausting chasing her here and there. She's so active and she just wants to walk all day everyday. And of course, I have to be there to follow her and run after her all the time.
The best part is when she extends her hand, as if asking for my hand. She holds me as we walk together side by side. Best feeling ever.
She's also become more friendly now. She's not as timid and shy as before. Obviously, she still needs a little bit of warming up especially to people she's not familiar with and places she hasn't been to yet. But her improvement is quite amazing as compared to how she was 4 months ago.
Nowadays, she has so many kalokohans. I think she got it from her father. ;) She is such a joker, she's so quirky and she's so funny. Did I mention how smart she is? She observes how we do things, then after a minute, she does the same thing too. I even caught her trying out my shoes. Haha!
This was one of her kalokohans. We have a step ladder at home and she knows she's not allowed to climb it. As I was busy washing dishes, she was busy riding the step ladder. Funny girl! I don't even know where she got the idea. We never taught her nor did we "ride" the ladder ourselves. Haha!
