Here’s a little tutorial that I made on how to quickly transform from a fun makeup to a sexy one by just changing your lip color. This is actually something that I normally do- change lip colors.
After priming and putting on sunblock, I used
Skin Hour Mattifying Day Cream, blend your chosen foundation with a stippling brush to make it natural looking. I am using
Loreal True Match Foundation in Golden Beige
Next is to do the concealing process. Click here for the steps.
Then it’s time to groom the eyebrows. Fill the sparse area and shape with eyebrow powder. I am using Modelco Eyebrow Powder in Dark.
After brushing to distribute the color, I apply MAC Browset in Beguile to set the eyebrow powder. It lightens and keeps the powder in place the entire day.
Now onto the eye makeup, using a satin beige color for all over eye color:
Apply it on to the eyelids with a large eyeshadow brush:
I wanted a little sparkle so I added shimmer by using my Etude House Bling Bling Eyestick and added it near my lashline.
Next is a darker color, in my case a matte tan shade to add depth to the eyes:
Choosing a medium sized eyeshadow brush, I place the color on my outer v.
Using a small eyeshadow brush for easy control, Apply the same darker shade to the lower lash line, concentrating on the outer part.
It should look like this:
Of course blending is next. This is very important to soften the harsh edges of the darker crease color.
Now for highlight, I chose an off white shade because I wanted the look to be natural looking and I find off white shadows are perfect for this.
With an angeled brush, sweep it to the browbone and blend it lightly with the crease color.
Using a gel eyeliner, apply it as closest as possible to the lashline. We don’t want it to look to obviously lined. I used
LuLu Makeup Brown Gel Eyeliner.
While waiting for it to dry, I moved to my face. I contoured my face using Fanny Serrano Two Way Cake in Rajah. I applied it to my cheeks, jawline, and blended it to my temples.
Since I have a small nose, I also contoured it using the same product but with an extra small eyeshadow brush.
Blush is next! I chose to use two blushes, a cream blush and powder blush. For the cream blush, I chose NYX Cream Blush in Glow. Stipple it and blend the edges with your fingers.
Set with a powder blush. I chose a shade close to the cream blush.
Lastly for the face, highlight! I highlight my cheek panes right above the blush color and apply a little above the eyebrows and the bridge of the nose. I used Etude House Secret Beam Highlighter.
Going back to the eyes. Curl and apply mascara. Since I wanted a natural look, I chose to use Maybelline Long Extreme Stiletto Mascara to lengthen my lashes.

Now for the lip color:
For the fun look, I chose my most fun and dramatic shade, Careline Lipgloss 103. And here’s what I came up with:
I would wear this look when meeting with my friends. Even though the lip color is quite shocking, I still feel I can pull it off. The focus is all on the lips since we kept the eyes a little neutral and simple. This would be a great day time look or dinner with the girls!
Now for a sexier look:
I knew I would go for red lips that’s why I kept the eye makeup simple. And when wearing red lips, it’s important to line the lips first. I am using Etude House Soft Touch Auto Liner then applied my red lipstick with a lip brush for precise application.
And here’s my look:
So maybe I don’t look “sexy”, but I think with red lips- it just screams romance. I would wear this for a dinner date with my husband or even for a party. It just looks more dressed up than the previous look. But I still like!
Tell me what you think and which you like better. 🙂
