Chocolate Batirol

Another chocolate find in Baguio. Why is it Baguio’s full of strawberries and good stuff? Hahaha! 🙂 Anyway, we went to Camp John Hay one day and we saw this place that sells Chocolate Batirol.

If you’re not familiar with Chocolate Batirol, it’s a chocolate drink that uses a Chocolate tablet or tablea as they call it. Some are thick that you can use it as a dip for your churros and some aren’t. So we headed to the restaurant.

And ordered their Original Chocolate Batirol (which is the ordinary chocolate flavor) and the Strawberry Chocolate Batirol.

I was quite impressed with the ambiance. It was very cozy and romantic actually. But the drinks were so-so. I thought that theirs were the thick drinks that I wanted, but it turned out the opposite. But in terms of the two drinks we ordered, I like the original one better. The strawberry flavored drink was weird. :/

However, I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this place for their drinks again. Maybe I’ll try their food next time, but the drinks were a bit disappointing. Sorry. 😉
